Description:
Sent to prison, Marcus was left for dead. He spent 4 years in prison until his best friend, Dominic Santiago busted him out. Much to his surprise the prison was filled with the race of creatures known as Locusts. He became a hero after the destroying one of their main strongholds with a Lightmass Bomb. He also fought the Lambent, the monster that feed on Imulsion. To destroy the Locusts the Gears had to sink the only human stronghold left, Jacinto. They sank the city and killed the Locust's newest weapon, but only 60% of the population still standing. He is right now with the remaining Gears on a battleship looking for a new place to settle.

Heavy Kick (Front+H)(125,000)
Just like he uses to open doors he uses to get some elbow room. When this hits it causes a wall bounce. This attack takes a second to use since it's a powerful attack.

Name-Taker (Down+H) (118,000)
This is how Marcus gets most of his kills. It's a downward stomp that hits OTG. When timed right you can add a Hyper Combo after this attack.

Special Moves

Open Fire (QCF+A) (L: 127,000 M: 130,000 H: 137,000)
Marcus shoots one of his many trademark weapons, one weapon per button of course. The Light variation shoots his trademark Lancer assault rifle which hits about 7 times. The Medium variation he shoots the Gnasher shotgun which shoots 8 pellets, which all add a hit to the combo (like Chris's shotgun). The Heavy variation shoots the Longshot sniper rifle once hit it causes a crippled state which can be followed with a combo.

Upward Thrust (Forward Shoryuken Movement+A) (120,000)
Marcus gets the Cleaver, a humongous sword, and thrusts it upward with a jump. Each variation makes him jump higher and this attack can disable flight for 5 seconds. Good against characters that can do so like Dr.Strange and Firebrand.

Grenade Toss (QCB+A) (L: 145,000 H: 52,000 for each second in the cloud)
Marcus wields 3 types of grenades that he can use in combat just like the guns he has one type of grenade per button. The Light variation he throws the Bolo Grenade which you can hold down the button for him to spin the grenade which causes him to throw it farther, the explosion the grenade will send them airborne. The Medium variation he throws a smoke grenade which can also be charged. Once thrown at the enemy they will cover their mouth and cough, which causes them to not move for a few seconds, the only down side, it causes no damage. The Heavy variation is the Ink Grenade which causes a cloud of ink to appear, if the enemy stands in it they will continue to take damage. Marcus also takes damage in the ink if he stands in it.

Gear Rotation (In the Air: QCF+A) (140,000)
Marcus pulls out his trusty Cleaver and does a spinning slash very much like Zero's air Heavy attack. This attack hits a total of 5 times before they get to the ground.


Hyper Combos

Lv.1 Silverback Assault (HCF+AA) (245,000) (RBP:260,000)
Marcus get's in the Silverback mech and fires it's machine gun and ends in 2 rocket blasts. With rapid button pressing this attack does more damage. This attack hits a total of 28 times.

Lv.1 Hammer of Dawn (QCB+AA) (250,000)
Probably the most powerful weapon in his arsenal, Marcus calls on the satellite laser known as the Hammer of Dawn. Consider this like Zero's Rekkoha hyper, but this hyper hits Mid-Screen. This Hyper hits a total of 18 times.

Lv.3 Gears of War (QCF+AA) (445,000)
This is the first thing people think of when they hear Gears of War. The Lancer's chainsaw. He starts off by ramming into the enemy (if this is blocked the Hyper is cancelled) then he starts shooting them with the Lancer then he uses the chainsaw where the opponent's neck meets the shoulder (just like in G.O.W) then the enemy falls to the ground and he ends with melee attack with the Lancer. This attack does a total of 75 hits.


Victory Pose: He stands on the knocked out body of the first enemy, with his Lancer on his shoulder. Then he kicks the knocked out character away.

#1- Think before you fight with the C.O.G
#2- Anya send a Raven we need to evacuate the area.
#3- Delta squad, move out! (Delta squad being the 2 other teammates)
#4- A lot less blood then usual.
#5- I would call that a break, but it's more of an obstacle than anything.
